About Toure Vashon
Dr. Toure Vashon completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of
Nevada, Las Vegas, after earning his medical degree from the prestigious University of California, San Francisco. He received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with honors, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
He went on to complete a comprehensive fellowship in Spinal Surgery at the Spine
Institute of Arizona, working with world-renowned spine surgeons during both his
residency and fellowship. His training emphasized minimally invasive techniques and the integration of the latest technologies in spine care. Dr. Vashon is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care, offering both conservative and surgical treatment options tailored to each patient’s needs, and striving to use the least invasive approach that delivers the greatest benefit.
He is an active member of the North American Spine Society (NASS) and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), allowing him to stay current with the latest academic developments and advances in his field.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys road and mountain biking, Jiu-Jitsu, golf, music, and
spending time with his family. Born and raised in the Las Vegas Valley, Dr. Vashon is
proud to return home to serve his community.
